Recently retired from business, he remained an eternal admirer of Siouxsie and the Banshees. By soliciting different artists to cover a title from the group led by the intransigent Susan Janet Ballion aka Siouxsie, Olivier L. was careful not to fall into reverent and/or nostalgic batcave trappings. Good for him, because this compilation offers innovative rereadings. ~ Mathieu Marmillot/Benzine ~
